Hello, everyone!
It's been a great experience, getting to know you during our first full week of class together. I'm excited to be blogging with you, sharing our ideas about different matters. Remember that every week, you are responsible for: a) writing a post on the topic I choose, and b) writing a thoughtfully - crafted response to at least 2 classmates. Of course, you may choose to respond to more than 2 classmates if you wish. You will get 10 points each week for following all the steps. Ok, let's get our creativity on!
Here's the first topic I'd like you to respond to: If you could step into any movie or book for just a day, which would you choose? Why?
Personally, I'd love to step into any Harry Potter book because the magical world of Hogwarts is thrilling and exciting. I read all the books in the series voraciously, and even watched most of the movies (all except one). I'd love to experience a Quidditch match, drink butterbeer with Dumbledore, and take some cool classes with some of the amazing professors. I'd also love to meet Ron Weasley's family because his family members seem like such warm people. Portraits that talk, owls that deliver messages, unicorns and huge, talking spiders - these are just a part of the incredible, colorful world that J. K. Rowling has created.
If you can't tell yet, I'm a big HP fan. Any other HP fans out there?
